Translation |
| Abstract(E) | The understanding of the longitudinal friction situation between tire and road surface is important to some automotive dynamic control systems like ABS and ASR. Of all the tire models the empirical model can give a good illustration about the longitudinal wheel forces. An improved new exponential friction model was proposed in this paper to monitor the friction characteristics between the tire and road surface, and its validity is proved by experiments and comparison with Pacejka MF model and other friction models. |
