| Abstract(E) | A skid steer vehicle without controller has strong over-steer characteristics in comparison with conventional front wheel steer vehicles (FWSV), where cornering capacity margin is small, and therefore it is difficult for drivers to control it. In this paper, whether the vehicle performance is able to be improved by changing the vehicle parameter is examined. In addition, to obtain driving characteristics similar to the FWSV, the sliding mode control system in which the yaw rate response of the FWSV is a target response is designed and the effects of the control is examined by simulations and the driving simulator. |
