| Abstract(E) | This paper describes a full-vehicle model for model-based development of a small electric vehicle using the Modelica language. Modelica allows various engineering fields to be simulated simultaneously in one model. Utilizing this advantage, the developed full-vehicle model is composed of a vehicle, controls, torque vectoring driveline, and motor/invertor. Each component considers energy loss, and the model can simulate energy consumption when direct yaw moment control (DYC) is applied. The results of a steady state cornering simulation quantitatively clarified the trade-off relationship between vehicle attitude and energy consumption, and the breakdown of energy consumption with and without control. |
