| Abstract(E) | Active control of the reductant concentration improved the NOx conversion rate, especially at low temperatures. Furthermore, the porosity and loading of the catalyst layer were investigated using a numerical thermo-dynamic code combined with detailed surface reactions to design two new catalysts which were tested on a diesel engine. As a result, higher purification rates could be achieved in combination with active control of the reductant. |
