| Abstract(E) | Iron-based superconductors are promising materials for the next generation of superstrong quasi-permanent magnets due to their characteristic superconducting properties. However, it is necessary to control the complex structure by optimizing a large number of process parameters in order to realize its potential. In this research, we utilized process informatics, in which researchers and AI collaborated, to achieve this challenge, and as a result, we succeeded in developing the highest-performance iron-based superconducting magnet. We believe that this suggests the importance of process informatics not only for superconducting magnets but also for future materials development research. |
