| Abstract(E) | The applications of powder coating are increasing for the purpose of the reduction of wastes and VOCs. Although powder coating is environment-friendly as described above, (1) it is inferior to other coating methods in adhesive property and chemical resistance, and (2) paint costs increase due to thick films. We have developed a lower-cost powder coating technology than conventional powder coating methods by achieving powder coating with thinner films while maintaining both adhesive property and chemical resistance, and have put it to practical use in brake booster body coating. |
