Translation |
| Abstract(E) | The HC-SCR (Hydrocarbon Selective Catalytic Reduction) catalysts, which consume hydrocarbons (diesel fuel) as a reducing agent, have a potential for selective NOx reduction even under coexistence of excess oxygen. In this study, metal / zeolite type catalysts were evaluated. Firstly, the NOx conversion efficiency was compared with some kind of metals under model gas environment. Secondly, the NOx reduction ratio was measured under the Japan D13 steady-state test mode by means of a real diesel engine. Finally, the durability of the catalyst was estimated by the deterioration of the performance through a long time aging with diesel exhaust gas. |
