| Abstract(E) | Recently, automakers have actively created sounds that suit their corporate images to improve the added-value of their vehicles and to differentiate from competitors. "Sound Creator" is a sound quality addition device using the air intake pulsation corresponding to the accelerator response., which is characterized by the air intake system. Installation of this device near the compartment (just in front of the dashboard panel) leads to limited influence on external noise. (This was explained in the previous report.) However, automakers recently require downsizing and weight saving for each component to improve fuel economy. On the other hand, requirements for sound quality are increasingly diversified. Thus, it is necessary to develop a new technology to meet these requirements. The following is the introduction of the new developments that meet these requirements. |
