| Abstract(E) | A rational design method of the nozzle exit area of a scale wind tunnel is proposed. The method is based on the balance of Reynolds number and blockage effects, which is applied to a few case studies at first. Nozzle exit area is calculated for each model scale, 1/2, 3/8, 1/3, or 1/4 with and without the consideration of the wall interference effects at last. The results show the Reynolds number effect is a little larger than the conventional idea. |
