| Abstract(E) | The joint research committee of SICE and JSAE on control and model for automotive control systems has decided to develop two benchmark problems to widely show the needs from the automotive control engineering area. One is a nonlinear identification problem by using an open engine model and the other is a control design problem to minimize fuel economy of hybrid vehicle. In this paper, the nonlinear identification problem and the provided engine model are described. Challengers are requested to evaluate not only their identified model accuracies but also the simulated data sizes used in their identifications. |
