| Abstract(E) | We are proposing new modeling method, "Functional Modeling Method." This modeling method is energy based block diagram, and traces two measurable physical values whose product implies the energy per time. Since a block diagram by this method is composed by measurable physical values, nonlinear behaviors can be expressed precisely. And energy loss (or supply) at any elements can be computed by multiplication of two values. In this paper, the theory of proposing method is explained. and a simple example is shown to explain the advantage of this method. In this example, the passing energy flow is computed at several positions in the block diagram, and the energy loss (supply) in the arm mechanism is computed. Furthermore, the block diagram of a clutch system is composed as an example of automotive application. |
