| Abstract(J) | 従来浄化が困難なエンジン冷間始動時の排出ガス低減を目的とした新しい HC トラップシステムを開発した。材料としてより多くかつ高温までの HC 吸着を可能にするゼオライト Ag-CHA および Cu-FAU を開発した。これらの材料とHCトラップ触媒の効果的な配置により、従来の TWCに比べ、エンジン冷間始動時の HC 排出量を 50% 以上の削減を実現した。 Translation |
| Abstract(E) | A new HC trap system was developed to reduce emissions during engine cold start when purification is difficult for TWC. As HC trap materials, Ag-CHA and Cu-FAU were developed as zeolites that have pore sizes close to the size of HC molecules and enable HC adsorption at higher temperatures by increasing the stability of the ion-exchange species that promote chemical adsorption. The properties of these materials and their effective arrangement in the three-bed system solved the issues and reduced HC emissions during engine cold start by more than 50% compared to conventional TWC systems. |
