抄録(英) | Pure battery electric vehicles (BEV, or simply, EV) have obstacles for diffusion. The largest obstacles are said to be their expensive price due to Li-ion battery and shorter driving range compared to that of conventional combustion vehicles. However, the largest obstacle is peoples' prejudice. EV is not a simple substitute of combustion vehicle but a novel mobility. It requires new infrastructure, information system and energy system, and then it requires a kind of innovation for this society to be reconstructed to the next-generation type. Furthermore, people have to consider why they move and use the mobility in the environment. This paper introduces a case study on the "Nagasaki EV&ITS Project", which is promoted by Nagasaki Prefectural Government in an archipelago of "Goto islands" to introduce more than 100 of EVs and PHVs and deploy charging spots, ITS spots, information system and energy micro-grids. Through the practical operation in this project, it is proposed how to build EV-friendly society, which consists of sufficient charging infrastructure, required information network system and service, and sustainable low-carbon energy system, designed to be suitable for regional society. In this paper, it is explained how to build charging infrastructures with sustaining business model, information systems to navigate to charging spots and sightseeing spots in order to make users' travel on EV comfortable and efficient, and micro-grid energy system with local renewable energy in feasible way to make the electricity supplied to EV cleaner. Comparison to the other regions cases as Yakushima or Okinawa, the model unites all the required systems as information system and energy system to EV. This will be a reasonable model for EV-friendly society and it will be able to be applied widely to any vehicle and onboard device which adopts the specifications and protocols shown in this paper. 翻訳 |
