| 抄録 | 日本では自転車乗員の事故件数が歩行者より数多く発生している．一方自転車乗員の死亡者数は歩行者の三分の一となっており，詳細事故分析によりその要因を把握することは非常に重要である．ここでは，自転車事故の衝突方向の死亡率や頭部衝突位置、加害部位，自転車走行速度の影響など比較して考察した． |
| 抄録（英） | Pedestrians and bicyclists, representing vulnerable road users, account for about 30% and about 10% of all fatal traffic injuries, respectively, in Japan. To promote effective protection against fatal bicyclist injuries, the mechanisms causing the injuries they suffer in various types of traffic accidents must be made clear. However, the crash behavior and accident patterns of bicyclists are not being analyzed as extensively as those of pedestrians. In the present study, accident data compiled in Japan were used to conduct in-detail analyses of the bicycle speed at the time of a collision with a vehicle and the location of bicyclist head impact against the vehicle, which are important factors affecting bicyclist fatalities in comparison with pedestrian fatalities. 翻訳 |
