| 抄録(英) | Rollovers of large-size vehicles could cause serious accidents for motorists. In this paper, a three-degree-of-freedom vehicle model is explored using computer simulation to clarify the relationships between the motions parallel to the ground and roll motion of a large vehicle, so that the roll motion could be predicted and eventually controlled to prevent rollover. Factors such as the varying c.g. height and roll stiffness are taken into consideration to account for unique properties of large-size vehicles, as opposed to smaller passenger cars.
