Abstract(E) | This paper is an introduction of a new pressure hydrogen storage system developed for the purpose of wide spread adoption of fuel cell electric vehicles (hereinafter called FCVs). The high pressure hydrogen storage system consists of high-pressure hydrogen tank, high-pressure valve, high-pressure regulator and piping. It is important for the future wide spread adoption of FCVs to improve mass productivity and reduce production cost while maintaining the performance level of these components. We have improved mass productivity and achieved reduction of production cost by adopting various technology such as new CFRP materials and new processing method for high-pressure hydrogen tank. |
