Abstract(E) | Pedestrians change direction and velocity until they reach their destination due to various obstacles. In some cases, pedestrians need to bypass the obstacles and move into the path of vehicles. In such case, the driver must decelerate or steer the vehicle to avoid accidents safety. In some studies that use pedestrian’s motion in simulations to infer or predict actual behavior, it is common that dynamical and mechanical models of pedestrian is applied to simulations. In this study, we apply social force model, which is one of the dynamical models, to pedestrian motion and calculates the obstacle avoidance loci in simulation. |
