Abstract(J) | 将来の飛躍的な熱効率、或いはCO2排出の改善を目指した大型商用ディーゼルエンジンの実現には、熱エネルギーの損失、特に筒内での冷却損失の画期的な低減が今後不可欠となる。本プロジェクトでは、燃焼現象の解明から冷却損失を現状の半減以下にすることを目指した技術開発を行ってきており、その成果の一部を紹介する。 Translation |
Abstract(E) | Drastic reduction in heat loss from engines, especially reduction in in-cylinder cooling loss, should become to be essential for the development of the next generation heavy-duty commercial diesel engines aiming breakthrough improvements in thermal efficiency and/or tank-to-wheel CO2 emissions. As one of the MLIT projects, our main task is to develop and to deploy novel engine and combustion control technologies, which can reduce in-cylinder cooling loss into less than a half of current production level through detailed numerical and experimental investigation of combustion phenomena. Several outputs from the project which confirmed with a single cylinder research engine, will be presented. |
