| Abstract(E) | Introducing the activities of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism project "Efforts toward realization of automated driving service with only remote monitoring (Level 4) in limited areas and vehicles". This initiative has led to the start of Japan's first specified automated driving operation in Eiheiji Town, Fukui Prefecture. In addition, challenges in social implementation of Level 4 automated driving mobility services will be described. |
