| Abstract(E) | As a means of utilizing video image to support elderly drivers, we outline the DAHLIA database of driving characteristics of elderly drivers and introduce a method for predicting the occurrence of crashes and near crashes (CNCs) using this database. As part of a comprehensive effort to reduce accidents involving elderly drivers, we propose a method for automatically judging their driving skills and judging whether they are looking at what they should be looking at while driving based on video image. |
