Abstract(J)近年の日本の農業は衰退傾向にあり、農業就業人口の減少と高齢化が進行している⑴ ⑵。さらに、農業従事者の高齢化によって、耕作放棄地面積の増加、食料自給率の低下、労働力不足が深刻な問題となっており⑶、これらの課題を解決するため、農作業の自動化がその解決策として大きく期待されている。スズキは、内閣府が統括する「戦略的イノベーション創造プログラム(SIP)第2期(スマートバイオ産業・農業基盤技術)」に参加し、軽トラックのキャリイをベースとして、農作物の運搬を自動化する無人運搬トラックを開発している。本稿では、無人運搬トラックに搭載する自動運転コントローラがディープラーニングを用いて、車両が走行可能な領域を検出し、農道のようなオフロード環境下であっても安定して走行できる制御手法について紹介する。

Abstract(E)In recent years, agriculture in Japan has been on the decline, and the number of people engaged in agriculture is decreasing and the aging population is going on(1)(2).Furthermore, due to the aging of farmers, the increase in the area of abandoned farmland, the decrease in food selfsufficiency rate, and the shortage of labor have become serious problems⑶. To solve these problems, the automation of agricultural work is highly expected to be one of the solutions.Suzuki, a member of the “Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP) Phase 2” under the auspices of the Cabinet Office, has been developing an unmanned delivery truck that automates the transportation of agricultural products, based on the SUZUKI-CARRY of a light truck. In this paper, we introduce a controlmethod in which a self-driving controller mounted on an unmanned transportation truck detects the area where the vehicle can run using deep learning, and the vehicle can run stably even in off-road environments such as farm roads.
