Abstract(J)ランキンサイクル発電装置はエンジン廃熱と外気温の温度差を利用して発電するシステムであり、得られた電力によってエンジンをHEV アシストすることなどで燃費改善が可能となる。ランキンサイクルの発電出力を高めるためには、走行風を積極的に取り入れて冷却器の放熱量を増大してシステムの温度差を拡大する必要がある。本研究はウィンドデフレクタ内にランキンサイクル発電用の冷却器を設置し、ウィンドデフレクタの開口部形状と内部構造、冷却器の搭載位置を工夫することによって放熱量を増大すると同時に、走行風導入に伴う空気抵抗の悪化を抑制した。ランキンサイクル発電装置を搭載した大型HEVトラックの発電出力をシミュレーションした結果、燃費を5 % 改善する見込みが得られた。

Translation

Abstract(E)The Rankine cycle generator is a waste heat recovery system that utilize temperature difference between engine waste heat and outside air temperature to generate electric power. The generated power can improve fuel efficiency by HEV assisting the engine. In order to increase Rankine cycle output power, it is necessary to increase the heat dissipation in the radiator and expanding the system temperature difference by actively entering the running wind. In this research, the Rankine cycle radiator is installed inside the wind deflector. It is realized to secure both the heat dissipation improvement and the air resistance reduction by the wind deflector modifications of inlet shape, internal structure and radiator fixation. As a result of simulation, the generated power of heavy duty HEV truck equipped with Rankine cycle generator is expected to improve fuel efficiency by 5%.
