| Abstract(E) | The author explained a method for three-dimensional numerical analysis of gas flow, fuel spray behavior and mixture formation process in diesel engines, and made a brief explanation of the usage of an open source code for engine gas flow, fuel spray and mixture formation simulation, “GTT code”, in which the submodels for droplet motion, breakup, mutual collision, coalescence, evaporation and wall impingement were incorporated based on the discrete droplet model and moreover the submodels for liquid film formation and evaporation were incorporated based on the discrete liquid film model. |
