Abstract(E) | Metamaterials are new materials that change the physical properties of waves to a state that does not exist in nature. Metamaterials have been used to reduce the size of antennas for electromagnetic waves and have recently been applied to acoustic waves. As an example of this application, we focus on acoustic metamaterials, which are lightweight materials with high sound insulation properties, and show their characteristics. |
