Abstract(E) | The Toyota New Global Architecture engine enabled to expand the high thermal efficiency area by improvement of combustion speed. This time, the New 1.5 Liter Gasoline Engine was developed based on 500 cc module. By building suitable system for each needs of the Conventional and the Hybrid, it enabled to balance Hi-level performance of fuel economy, power and exhaust emission. This report shows the method of utilizing characteristic of 3 cylinder engine and high speed combustion and building suitable system for Conventional and Hybrid. |
