Abstract(E) | We developed the Active Vibration Control system(AVC)and applied it to mass-produced vehicles. The AVC system applies the conventional ANC software logic and uses a newly developed linear actuator and acceleration sensor. These are installed on the front sub-frame to generate anti-phase outputs to the vibrations detected by the acceleration sensor and reduce the transmission of vibrations to the cabin. This report introduces a product development example that greatly improved fuel efficiency and emotional sound by reducing vibration transmission from the engine to the cabin during the cruising drive and adding vibration during the accelerating drive. |
