Translation |
Abstract(E) | Production system of automobiles is required more flexibility, less development time and more energy and cost efficiency by customers' expectation for wider variations, changing regional and global regulations, and emerging new technologies. To overcome these hurdles, it is crucial to utilize simulations with digital twins of products, production system and performance, standardized controllers and their libraries for machines, automated guided vehicles and robots, and virtual commissioning to eliminate cut-and-try in the real world. This article introduces the new final assembly line of Porsche and technologies having enabled it. |
