Abstract(E) | In order to enhance vehicle usability, seat fabric material was developed that can easily be wiped off and resists staining even by drinks and oil from mayonnaise and other such oily foods. Three types of fluororesin in an appropriate compound have been added to the dipping process, and one of those types is also applied to the back of the fabric in a back-coating process. This has made it possible for automobile interior materials to maintain water- and oil-repellency even in the high-temperature environments they are exposed to and following the abrasion caused by occupant entry and exit. |
