Translation |
Abstract(E) | Mechanical fastening such as bolted joints is one of major joining methods for multi-materialization of automobile body. Bolted joints enable to join metallic materials and nonmetallic materials with high joint strength because external load is supported by bolt axes. On the other hand, stiffness of bolted joints easily changes depending on clamping force and surface texture at contact surfaces of jointed members. This article briefly introduces the basic theory of the interfacial element for FEM which simulates the stiffness changing of bolted joints. In addition, it describes results of verification experiments and trials of model simplification for large-scale simulations. |
