Abstract(E) | Supercritical fluid is a state above the critical point, and the thermophysical properties change drastically near the critical point. Supercritical fluids have utilized in many industrial processes as a solvent or coolant. We have developed supercritical fluids simulator to investigate transcritical and supercritical fluid flows in industrial applications; supercritical CO2 flows in radial compressors, supercritical H2O flows in chemical reactors, and supercritical hydrocarbon flows in a cooling channel. The numerical method and numerical results by supercritical fluids simulator were introduced. |
