| Abstract(J) | バックモニタの映像は平面であるため，物体の奥行を知覚しにくい，これを解決するため立体視が可能な3Dディスプレイを用いることを考えた．立体映像の合成に必要な物体の奥行情報をステレオマッチングを用いて得るには，リアルタイム処理が課題となる．そこでFPGAを用いたハードウェア化を行い，70fpsの速度を実現した． Translation |
| Abstract(E) | The flatness of the image in rearview monitors make them difficult for users to recognize the depth of the objects in the image. We considered developing a rearview monitor which would allow users to easily recognize depth by using a stereoscopic display. In order to synthesize images for stereoscopic display, depth information of objects is necessary. To obtain this information, we considered applying stereo matching. Stereo matching is computationally expensive, and real-time processing is a challenge. To address this problem, we developed a hardware implementation of stereo matching using FPGA and it achieved a speed of 70 fps. |
