Abstract(E) | In order to achieve the lightweighting of car bodies, there is a trend towards the multi-materialization of the body. To achieve multi-materialization of the body structure, it is necessary to establish a reliable joining technology for dissimilar materials. This article describe the current status of dissimilar joining technologies for multi-material structures and methods for evaluating and predicting the performance of joints to ensure the mechanical performance of dissimilar joints. |
