Abstract(E) | This article presents a future V2X targeting highly reliable wireless connection in automated vehicle era. A cooperative automated vehicle is focused for smooth and safe automated driving by using connected technologies. However, uncertain wireless connection due to fading and shadowing of radio propagation limits the usability of V2X in automated driving. Here, we introduce issues of V2X targeting future ITS and several technologies improving the reliability and predictability of V2X. We focus on wireless environment recognized by communication log and prediction of wireless communication quality. Moreover, the technique to improve communication reliability by using multi-operator and multi-system is shown. |
