Abstract(J) | 親水部と疎水部の組合せからなる濡れ性パターンを設けると、それぞれの領域での接触角の違いから液滴を駆動できる。星形の親水部を設けたパターンにより水滴は離散的な位置に拘束され、結露と着霜の合体化を抑制できた。また、星形の疎水部を設けたパターンにより、水中の油滴は疎水部の中心に集められ、容易に除去できた。 Translation |
Abstract(E) | Wettability pattern, defined as the combination of hydrophilic area and hydrophobic area, produces repelling force on a liquid droplet at the boundary due to the difference in the contact angles on both areas. Thus, tapered wettability pattern produces a directional driving force on a droplet. This paper introduces two applications referring previous studies. Star-like hydrophilic patterns surrounded by hydrophobic kept water droplets at separated position and prevent the coalesced frost. Star-like hydrophobic patterns surrounded by hydrophilic area repelled an oil droplet in water and the droplet floated in water. A measure for functional life extension is also discussed. |
