Translation |
Abstract(E) | Walking environment simulators, which use screens arranged around participants to project a computer-generated traffic environment and simulate the experience of crossing a roadway, are being utilized in traffic safety training. This report will discuss the characteristics of roadway crossing behavior in elderly pedestrians as revealed by recent research, in addition to introducing a newly developed walking environment simulator that employs a standalone head-mounted display (HMD). |
