Abstract(E) | The use of grid-connected electric vehicles(EVs)to supply electric power reserves has gained attention as a possible solution to grid instability caused by the increasing penetration of renewable energy. To participate in electric markets to utilize electric power reserve with EV battery resources, it is necessary to predict their ability to supply power while taking into consideration their primary purpose as transportation. In this paper, we present a statistical method to predict the aggregated power supply capability of a large number of EVs that accounts for these constraints. |
