Despite inherent challenges such as lower performance compared to inorganic materials, organic alternatives offer distinct advantages in terms of flexibility, environmental impact, and suitability for self-powered sensors. The synergy achieved by combining thermoelectric devices and thermocells holds the potential to significantly enhance the versatility of these energy-harvesting technologies, effectively covering a substantial portion of waste heat sources. |
