Abstract(J)本稿では,炭素ナノマテリアル (CNM) に白金ナノ粒子 (PtNP) を担持したナノマテリアル複合体による水素発生触媒を紹介する.CNM と PtNP を複合化するために,機能性ポリマーを介する方法(2)と,CNM と PtNP を直接複合化する方法を検討した.各々得られた PtNP/CNM 複合体の PtNP 担持量はマイクログラムオーダーであり,既存のPt 系水素発生触媒に比べ,1/100 の Pt 削減化に成功した.また,水素発生触媒は電気化学的に安定であり,電流密度 100 mA cm–2 で 150 時間連続して水素を発生することがわかった.我々の複合化手法は,高効率な水素発生触媒を提供するだけでなく,PEM 水電解槽の産業応用への促進に貢献するコスト効率の高いアプローチである.

Translation

Abstract(E)We have developed hydrogen evolution catalysts consisting of platinum nanoparticle (PtNP)/carbon nanomaterial (CNM) composites through noncovalent functionalization. The PtNP loadings of the PtNP/CNM composites are on the order of micrograms per square centimeter, indicating that hydrogen is generated with approximately one-hundredth of the Pt loading of previously reported electrocatalysts. The PtNP/CNM catalysts are electrochemically stable and produce hydrogen continuously for 150 h at a current density of 100 mA cm–2. Our methodology is a cost-effective approach that not only provides highly efficient hydrogen evolution catalysts, but also promotes industrial applications related to hydrogen production.
