| Abstract(E) | Hydrogen is produced from renewable sources and is increasingly recognized as a useful medium across a wide range of various sectors. In Japan, hydrogen-related policies are being rolled out from the perspectives of global warming countermeasures and energy security. In the automotive areas in particular, hydrogen holds potential not only as a fuel for fuel cell and internal combustion engine systems but also as a raw material for synthetic fuels. Therefore, this paper will focus on the those areas and discuss the current status of various applications of hydrogen and the challenges associated with their full-scale deployment in the future. |
