Translation |
| Abstract(E) | This paper introduces the current status of hydrogen engines for passenger cars and provides specific development examples. It comprehensively evaluates engine and vehicle performance for three different combustion concepts (pure lean, lean, and λ=1) and two fuel injection methods (port injection and direct injection), and details specific countermeasures to address unique technical challenges. Specifically, it focuses on key issues such as abnormal combustion, component wear, and corrosion, and thoroughly examines these factors to clarify a concrete path toward the practical application of carbon-neutral powertrains in the automotive industry. |
