| Abstract(E) | Recovering single plastics with high purity from plastic waste derived from scrapped vehicles presented challenges. To address the limitations of conventional physical sorting methods, a new technology called “chemical sorting” was developed, which involves dissolving and separating plastics. This allowed for the inexpensive recovery of high-purity single plastics through a continuous process, solvent selection, and the establishment of optimal operating conditions. |
