| Abstract(E) | This paper introduces the concept of CAE for socio-technical transportation systems, which focuses not only on vehicles but also on the entire traffic and social system, including road environment, human behavior, and institutional and operational frameworks. The roles and challenges of the CAE, which provides an analysis and evaluation method by integrating traffic simulation with AI, in supporting decisionmaking on transportation policy and next-generation mobility systems are summarized. |
