Translation |
| Abstract(E) | We successfully fabricated mille-feuille (MF)-structured Mg alloys featuring sparse hard and soft nano-layered structures. An extruded MF-type Mg-0.4Zn-1.0Y (at.%) alloy, with hard layers spaced approximately 10 nm apart, exhibited the remarkable yield strength of 417 MPa through kink strengthening. MF-structured Mg alloys are anticipated to bring about a paradigm shift in the field of structural materials. |
