| Abstract(E) | One of the major obstacles to the commercialization of Fuel Cell vehicle is the cost of the system. The redox flow FC (RFFC) system , using Polyoxometalate(POM), which is entirely free of any precious metals in cathode, has a low cost potential(1). In this paper, we describe the performance of our RFFC system including the reaction rate and system volume. We conclude that the energy density of RFFC is too low to compare with the standard PEM-FC. We need to develop new high energy density media to apply RFFC system to vehicles. |
