| Abstract(E) | In Japan, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry formulated the "Green Growth Strategy with Carbon Neutrality in 2050", they decided to maximize the use of renewable energy. Also, the spray characteristics such as macroscopic shape and particle size in diesel engines are important for understanding combustion. Therefore, in this study, we grasped the spray characteristics using fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) as conventional BDF and Bio Hydrofind Diesel (BHD) as next-generation BDF. As a result, the BHD resulted in a low penetration and high dispersion spray compared to the FAME, suggested an improvement in thermal efficiency and emissions. |
