| Abstract(J) | エンジンの冷却損失改善技術の一つである高応答遮熱膜が注目されている.本報では希土類チタン酸化物膜をピストン冠面へ塗布することによる熱効率向上及び冷態暖機中の燃焼安定性改善効果を調査した.遮熱膜塗布により,燃費は最大で約1%改善,台上で冷態暖機中を模擬した評価において燃焼安定性の改善も確認した. Translation |
| Abstract(E) | A high-response thermal barrier coating(TBC)has focused as one of the technologies to improve engine cooling losses. In this report, the effects on fuel economy and combustion stability were investigated by applying the Rare-Earth Titanate as a TBC to the piston crown surface. An improvement in fuel economy was confirmed. On the other hand, in high-load operating regions, decreasing of fuel economy and power were observed due to knocking. Therefore, by avoiding coating the end-gas region in TBC, the knocking was suppressed. An improvement in combustion stability in Fast-Idle(FI)was confirmed. This was caused by an increase in IMEP during FI due to TBC. |
