Translation |
Abstract(E) | Vehicles with a low steering gear ratio become sensitive to steering inputs of a specific frequency when driving at low speeds, which leads to poor riding comfort. It was clarified that this phenomenon occurs depending on the tire relaxation length and its mechanism. In a steer-by-wire vehicle, it was clarified in an actual vehicle experiment that it is possible to take measures against the above phenomenon by installing an appropriate filter between the steering wheel angle and the front wheel steering angle. |
