Abstract(E) | In this paper, ACFC+CT(Active Clamp Forward Converter with Center Tap) is used for LDC. In the new topology, a number of primary side switches are reduced from four Si MOSFETs to two SiC FETs and the switching frequency is doubled from 100kHz to 200kHz. By this effort, the application of a planar transformer with high-heat dissipation PCB and downsizing output inductor are possible. This paper illustrates the experimental results of the hardware prototype achieves a 1.96-fold increase in power density, a 25 percent reduction in cost, and a 0.5 percent increase in the main load condition compared to the previous LDC. |
