Translation |
Abstract(E) | Conventionally, in FEM analysis of crash safety performance of automobile, there has been a subject such as an increase in calculation cost in order to predict crack propagation of a thin metal sheet by solid element. This time, we have established a technology that can solve the above subject and reproduce crack propagation by automatically converting only the part with high crack possibility from the shell element to the detailed solid element and applying the sub-cycling method. |
