Translation |
Abstract(E) | The present study aims to clarify driver’s risk-perception level when facing a sudden deceleration of the leading vehicle using ACC in the winter roadconditions. We examined the effects of road alignment (straight, left curve) and road surface conditions (dry, snowy and icy) on sudden deceleration of the leading vehicle. The 43 drivers joined this experiment. The results of experiment using a driving simulator indicated that the driver's risk perception level was depended on TTC value. Also, the the driver's risk perception level showed high on the icy and snowy road conditions and that was high at the left curve section. |
